Building an empire of expired domains

While some may be familiar with the notion of expired domains, others may be completely clueless on what the expired domains are. We will try to explain as detailed as possible the value of these domains and how Tubbing can help you monetize them. We are writing this training course to teach you how to pick the ones that are worth buying so that you can build a passive income from domains that already have authority.

What is an expired domain?

An expired domain is basically a domain that was previously owned by someone, but that person decided to stop using the domain, or simply forgot to renew it.

Why buy what somebody else no longer wants?

You know what they say, one man's trash is another man's treasure. But leaving the idioms aside, this is as real as it can get. The front page of ExpiredDomains.net has this quote :

“Thousands of domain names expire every day. The reasons are different. Some owners forgot to renew the domains, some just don't want them anymore or they moved on to other projects. For most people these so called Expired Domains don't have any value. They just see a bunch of Domain Names someone else deleted and move on, but for the people who know about SEO or the value of good Backlinks, Expired Domain Names are money just waiting to get picked up from the street. The only problem is to separate the good ones from the bad ones. That is where ExpiredDomains.net comes into play.”

And the guys from Expired Domains are totally right. Of course it will take time and effort to find good domains, but the end results are amazing. Us, the staff from Tubbing, are using this strategy too, and whenever one of us has some free time, it's what we do. The motivation is obvious, it's all about the money because as we mentioned in the introduction course, Tubbing was not a project that was supposed to be shared, but a platform that was created for our needs.

Our recommendations

  1. Focus on 1 category alone. Why? You can add general content ( videos ) to match your domains.

  2. Use general keywords when searching for expired domains, keywords that match the category you're focusing on.

  3. If you have the time, it is advisable to aim for unique content on each of your expired domains. Please refer to this training course for more information: http://tubbing.net/training.php?id=5

  4. Don't rush, you will not always find good domains instantly, it's a process that takes time. If you manage to get 1 good domain per week you're doing great.
